Our Cat Hallie enjoys lounging in her fleece lined bed right on Nancy's sewing table. The light keeps her "toasty". Posted by Hello

Nancy liked the garden behind our rental. She was hoping for rain while we were there, but other than a sprinkle on Sunday morn, the Sun shined bright on the bay each day of our trip! It was a great week! We covered the whole city and more! Posted by Hello

Union Square was busy with an art show. Even on Thursday afternoon in September there was a lot of action for all the tourists. Standing on the street in Chinatown one evening, I heard languages from all over the world as people walked by! Posted by Hello

The view of the city from Potrero Hill was spectacular on a bright sunny day. Throughout San Francisco the view always was crisscrossed by the Trolley and bus line electric cable grid! Posted by Hello

We stayed in the Potrero Hill district which was south of the city center and east of the Castro and Mission districts. One of the best coffee houses in town, Farleys, was a block away! Posted by Hello

Everyone stops at the Buena Vista for happy hour! Posted by Hello

And there were the seals which had taken over the docks at Pier 39 a few years ago, much to delight of the tourists, and to the frustration of all the fisherman who once docked their boats at this location. Posted by Hello

Pier 39 is the newest tourist trap on the bay, but it sure is scenic. Even though it's September, the City was full of tourists. Posted by Hello

It was a beautiful day on San Francisco bay with white sails running past Alcatraz in the background. The breeze was brisk and all the tourists on Pier 39 had a great view from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate. Posted by Hello

We must be in San Francisco! Our first family vacation in years! Matt, Sara, and Nancy at the Golden Gate, on the way to Stinson Beach! Sara Says that's where the great whites dine on surfers! Posted by Hello
