This is a companion photo blog to marksspot2 and is a depository of the jumble of digital photos that seem to have nowhere else to go when downloaded from my camera to the PC.

The west end of the lake nearer to the dam has risen to the max and looks more pristine.
The lake looks kind of ragged with all the treetops sticking out and debris along the shore.
The east end of the lake looking towards I-15. This whole area was dry lakebed with lots of trees.
The rain has stopped the construction of the expansion of the bridge.
East of the bridge. The trees that have grown up over the last 7-8 years are all going to die out and create some great bass habitat.
This is just east of the bidge. They are woring on an expansion of lanes and have pilings started to widen the freeway accross the lake.
About 10 years ago we fished at this spot under the bridge and caught crappies in about 5 ft of water.
There is a forest of tree tops sticking out from the lake.
A month ago there was no water under the I-15 bridge in Escondido. The lake was at 17% of its capacity, It is now at 100%.
The river below is at flood levels downstream and has flooded part of Morgan's Run Golf course.
it even has some mist at the bottom of the falls.
Lake Hodges dam is overflowing for the first time since 1998. This time there is enough water to create a mini-Niagara Falls.
